This week the hubs, babe and I are in St. Thomas with my parents. Escaping from the cold northeast weather has been AMAZING. (Not to mention spending time with them and having an extra set of hands to help with el bebe).
Yesterday, we took a day trip to Trunk Bay in St. John. I think it is the prettiest beach I have ever been to; and I like to think that I have been lucky enough to have been to quite a few beaches. Below is a picture of Em’s and I while we were there. The water was so clear and blue and the sand was so soft. Definitely hope to come back someday!

One of my favorite parts of this trip and traveling in general has been trying new things, particularly in the food and drinks department. It is always a source of inspiration for new dishes and drinks to try and recreate when I am home. One of my favorite new drinks from this trip was the Mango Pale Ale…it was delicious. My husband tried a Bacon Chocolate Martini, also yummy…I will definitely be recreating that when we go home! (And yes, I was the one ordering the beer and he ordered the martini:) ). How times have changed!
