With Lawrence’s birthday party a week and a half away I have been busy baking away. I have decided on 7 different types of cookies for Lawrence’s cookie bar. I have made 5 of the 7…only two left to go! I can not wait to share them after his party!!
Amongst all the cookie baking madness I have been also busy on the gardening and craft front….

My garden is still throwing out vegetables as well…mostly peppers but a few heirloom tomatoes, some basil and a zucchini…yum! Below is a shot of them all from one day a week or so ago:
I have also been taking a knitting class. It took me a little while to get a hang of it and as a result, I did not make much. I call this a wrist warmer! ha. If I had ben thinking I would have made it a little longer and made a cozy warmer for my coffee but oh well…next time! Now that I seem to have the hang of it I am starting to make a scarf. We shall see how long that takes me! Maybe it will be done by next fall:).
And last but not least…I came up with a very simple version of one of my favorite fall drinks that I will be sharing in the next few days. Stay tuned!
