A Blood Orange Mimosa & a Happy 1st Blogiversary to me! Cheers!

January 26, 2015 Leave a Comment

I had hoped to get this post out to you this past Saturday as January 24th marked the 1st blogiversary of my first post here on lilcelebrations!  But alas, I was sick with the flu so I am just catching up on things now….

blood orange mimosa updated

As you may, or may not know, mimosas are one of my favorite drinks.  I also happen to love blood oranges which are in season now.  Sooo… I thought this was the perfect cocktail for me to cheers to on this 1st blogiversary of mine…

This drink is super simple to make and a nice twist on the standard mimosa.  You can easily make this for a group for brunch or pour each drink individually….either way it is a nice citrus-y treat to help you forget (at least temporarily) about all this cold weather and snow.
